Tutors:

Registration & Onboarding

• Registration with SV Home Tuitions is completely free.
• Tutors must provide accurate information regarding their qualifications, experience, subjects, availability, and preferred teaching locations.
• Additional profile details may be collected through WhatsApp or phone calls during the onboarding process.
• Tutors may be added to official communication channels and location-specific groups to receive tuition opportunities.
• Submission of details does not guarantee tuition allocation.

Tuition Opportunities & Demo Classes

• Student requirements are shared through official SV Home Tuitions channels and groups.
• Tutors may express interest in requirements that match their profile and preferences.
• Tutor profiles will be shared with parents only after internal review and shortlisting.
• Demo classes will be scheduled only after parent approval.
• A successful demo class does not guarantee final tutor selection, as the decision rests with the parent.

Service Charges & Payments

• SV Home Tuitions charges a one-time placement fee for successfully converted tuition opportunities.
• The placement fee may range between 20% and 50% of one month’s tuition fee, based on various factors including the tutor’s qualifications, experience, profile strength, tuition requirements, location, fee structure, demand for the requirement, and the efforts involved in fulfilling the opportunity.
• The applicable fee will be communicated before tutor confirmation.
• The placement fee is deducted from the tutor’s first month’s tuition earnings.
• From the second month onwards, tutors receive their tuition fees directly without any further deductions from SV Home Tuitions.

Professional Conduct & Attendance

• Tutors are expected to be punctual, professional, and well-prepared for every class.
• Tutors must maintain respectful communication with both parents and students.
• Tutors are expected to honour their commitment once they accept a tuition opportunity and a demo class has been successfully completed. Any planned absence or schedule change should be communicated to the parent and SV Home Tuitions in advance.
• If a parent confirms the tutor after a successful demo class and the tutor agrees to proceed, the tutor is expected to commence regular classes as scheduled.
• Failure to start classes after accepting a confirmed tuition assignment, without a valid reason or prior communication, may negatively impact the learning experience of the student and the reputation of SV Home Tuitions.
• Tutors who repeatedly fail to attend scheduled classes, abruptly discontinue communication, refuse to start confirmed tuition assignments, or become unreachable after accepting an opportunity may be blacklisted from future tuition opportunities.
• SV Home Tuitions reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove tutors from its network in cases of repeated unprofessional conduct, non-responsiveness, misuse of opportunities, or actions that adversely affect students, parents, or the reputation of SV Home Tuitions.
• Tutors are expected to uphold the reputation and values of SV Home Tuitions while interacting with parents and students.

Communication & General Policies

• Tutors are encouraged to respond promptly to tuition opportunities, demo requests, and other official communications.
• All information provided during registration and onboarding must be accurate and genuine.
• Any concerns regarding students, parents, schedules, or payments should be reported to SV Home Tuitions promptly.
• SV Home Tuitions acts as a facilitator connecting tutors with parents and reserves the right to discontinue association with tutors in cases of misconduct, false information, or repeated unprofessional behavior.
• These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically, and continued association with SV Home Tuitions will be deemed acceptance of the latest version.
